Jack Van Kley, Chris Walker Voted 2009 Ohio "Super Lawyers"

Chris Walker and Jack Van Kley have both been listed in Law and Politics' 2009 edition of Ohio Super Lawyers.  The Super Lawyers list, which is published annually, selects qualified candidates on the basis of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Only 5 percent of Ohio lawyers are listed in Ohio Super Lawyers.  The listings can be viewed at www.superlawyers.com. 

Chambers USA Honors
Chambers USA has named Jack Van Kley and Chris Walker as leading environmental attorneys in Ohio in its 2009 publication. Chambers bases this designation on interviews with clients and other environmental attorneys.

First Decision on CAFF Permit

In three separate cases, the Environmental Review Appeals Commission has affirmed the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s permits for Ross-Medford Farm’s egg production facilities, Hijma Dairy, and Reyskens Dairy. These are the first three permits issued under the Department’s new regulatory program for concentrated animal feeding facilities that went to contested adjudication hearings. Jack Van Kley represented all three farms.
